Family Wealth Office Advisory
For established family groups, wealth is rarely a single issue. It sits across people, entities, trusts, companies, superannuation, property, operating businesses, investments, loans, advisers and legacy documents. Our role is to help the family see the full position clearly and ensure each important matter has an owner, a context and a practical next step.
Best suited to
Families with accumulated wealth, multiple entities, blended advisory arrangements, succession issues, property or investment assets, and a need for a single coordinating adviser who understands the whole position.
Adviser Coordination and Independent Oversight
We work with nominated lawyers, financial planners, bankers, investment advisers and insurance advisers to keep advice connected and properly sequenced. We do not attempt to replace specialist advisers; we help ensure the right specialist is engaged at the right time and that advice is reviewed in context.
· Coordination of nominated advisers and action registers
· Review of advice for tax, structure and implementation consequences
· Identification of gaps, inconsistencies or stale advice
· Facilitation of roundtable discussions where appropriate
Annual Tax and Structure Debrief
Annual tax work gives us detailed visibility across the family group. We use that process to identify structural, tax, documentation, cashflow and succession issues that may otherwise remain hidden.
· Known future tax inflows and outflows
· Documentation and substantiation issues
· ATO risk areas and audit triggers
· Opportunities to simplify entities or processes
· Asset protection, succession and estate planning triggers
Private Office Administration Support
Some families benefit from direct assistance with financial administration, document management, investment paperwork and household financial processes, particularly where principals are time-poor, ageing or seeking to preserve independence.
· Physical or electronic mailbox support
· Investment and household paperwork workflows
· Bill payment and administrative support where appropriate
· Document management and record access
· Coordination with family members and adviser within agreed boundaries
Generally not suited to
One-off tax return enquiries, price-sensitive compliance work, or situtation where the client does not want coordinated advice or senior adviser involvement
